Same Day Delivery-  Absolutely!!   Funerals, Hospitals and Residential.

We try to accomodate everyone, even up to the last minute.  Please call to see if we can still do your delivery for the same day, even if it is after 2pm.  In most cases if you order by 2:00 pm in the recipient's time zone, we can typically deliver the flowers the same day Monday through Friday even outside our delivery area by sending it to a nearby florist.

Holiday Delivery

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 2 days prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day and Father's Day for specific items to be brought in for you.    * Here at Cedar Hill Florist & Gifts we accept your order up until the last minute. -Even on a holiday!  *as long as our designers and drivers can get the delivery completed for you.

We are closed on these holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Fathers Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Specific Times

You many request a time frame in the special instruction box when ordering, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  Keep in mind- almost all deliveries are made from noon to 2pm.

Delivery Times

We normally deliver each day from 12-2pm unless it is during a holiday week or special arrangements have been made. 

Funeral Homes

These orders are our very highest priority.  For our local funeral homes, we try to deliver everything one hour before the family viewing time.  If you do not know the zip code or exact address of the funeral home we will look it up for you. We normally contact the funeral home anyway to verify the time of the viewing and make arrangements for the flower delivery. If you have selected a delivery date that is before the actual viewing we will deliver to the viewing per the funeral home instructions. If you have ordered for a funeral viewing on Sunday and it is too late to deliver on Saturday or Sunday by another florist, we will contact the funeral home to verify that there is a viewing or service on Monday, reschedule the order to be delivered as quickly as possible.

High Schools

Some High schools do not accept deliveries for students. Please send teacher's gifts to the high school and any student orders to their residence. Orders to high schools should be placed early because they usually must be received by 2pm.

Weekend Delivery Policy

Deliveries are available in most major cities on Saturdays if ordered by 12pm in the recipient time zone.  If item being delivered is for a funeral, the item will be delivered when the time is most approptiate.  We will accept a funeral delivery for a Sunday delivery if we know about it ahead of time.

PO Boxes

We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. addresses.

If no one is home

Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery. 

Incorrect Addresses

Please take the time to give us the correct address. At this time we do not charge for a address correction if the driver has gone to the wrong address.  If the order is a wired out FTD/Teleflora, the other florist may charge for the incorrect address.

Canceling an Order

Same-day orders are processed immediately, and usually cannot be changed. Due to the urgent nature of florist delivered products we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process at the florist, en route or delivered. Recipient may be contacted

In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure she/he will be home to accept the delivery.

Request to leave item at door

The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements.

Recipient refusal of delivery

If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you may be held fully liable for the cost of the gift.

Card Messages

The message that you write in the Card Message field is the message that is sent with the gift.  We will only include your address on the back of the card for acknowledgement address for funerals.
