Bridal Information Sheet

        Thank you for your interest in Cedar Hill Florist & Gifts.

We have put together a small amount of information that should answer a few of your questions as you plan your day together.

Please feel free to bring in any swatches of fabric, pictures or any items you want to share with our designers to coordinate them into your wedding plans.

  Cedar Hill Florist does not charge for the wedding consultation with a designer.  Please be aware that it will take a little less than 1 hour depending on the amount of flowers you will be requiring for your wedding party and reception. 

If your free consultation runs longer than an hour, you will be billed for additional time at 60 dollars per hour.  Please be well prepared for our time together.  Please submit your questionnaire prior to our appointment.


Items to bring;

·        List of entire wedding party names and their duties.

·        List of family members names requiring flowers

·        Swatch of fabric for dress colors for bridesmaids

·        Pictures printed out of items or bouquets you like- we will keep these for records. (We can't remember what is on your phone).

·        Anything additional you want to share with our designers to coordinate them into your wedding plans.

        

  We require a retainer of 200.00 to hold your wedding date.  This is a non-refundable deposit.  It will however, be applied to the balance of your wedding flowers.  Check or cash only.  Credit cards are not accepted for any wedding payments.

After we have planned for your wedding flowers and signed a contract, you may not delete items from the budget.  This will drastically affect our shops floral order, payroll and other subsequent items and their cost from our orders and our wholesalers.

          The balance of your wedding flowers must be paid in full, 3 weeks prior to the actual wedding date.  The flowers for your wedding will not be ordered from our supplier until the balance is paid.  Keep this in mind to ensure the actual variety and colors of your flower you specified for your special day.

          At times the cost of flowers does increase.  We will honor our price you were quoted for 6 months.  If you are shopping for a future year, please be aware there may be a slight increase, normally not over 10%.  The exception to the rule would be due to a natural disaster, such as a hurricane, earthquake, etc.

Servicing your wedding

The prices you will be quoted will not include servicing the wedding unless that has already been discussed.  If you are considering Cedar Hill Florist & Gifts servicing your wedding for an additional charge, here are some facts you should know as you schedule your time.

The normal fee for servicing the wedding is $175.00 and our service includes the following:

  •  We will arrive one hour prior to the wedding event time.
  • During that time frame we will place any floral decorations, altar pieces or bows that have been purchased through our shop.
  • Properly pin on all corsages and boutonnières and hand out all Bridal bouquets.
  • Set up the isle runner (if you have ordered one), or set up any additional pieces that were purchased through our shop.
  • We will stay at the wedding until the Bride walks down the isle at the event time, clean up our mess and exit the church.

Should your wedding be outside our local delivery area, there may also be a small delivery fee.  If your wedding should need more than one designer to be present to allow for the finishing touches you will be quoted for an additional fee.

Any additional time needed such as the arrival of flowers prior for picture purposes ate billed at sixty dollars per hour.

Reception Set up

We will be glad to deliver any floral pieces to your reception. This is done as a second deliver fee for any additional drop offs.

Should you require a designer to be at the reception for any work, such as the cake etc., The amount is billed by the amount of time a person or persons may be there.

Rental items

All items listed within our delivery area are billed as the following:

  • Arbor                    125.00 (the arbor includes: local delivery, set up & pick up)
  • Plant stands (all 6)    40.00
  • Wishing Well           15.00
  • Guest Book stand     20.00

Or a combination price  (For all items listed above) 175.00

30" Eiffel Tower Vases are available, as well as some brass candelabra items.  Call for a complete list. While these items are in your possession we wish that you care for them respect. The B S Mortensens products are of wood and do not weather well. If damage should occur, the product will be replaced and the renters cost.
